A beautiful, detached Hatchard- Smith house that sits within a private and secluded plot of just under a fifth of an acre, boasting lovely views over the countryside and down towards the coast. This property enjoys a unique location, near to East Devon Golf Course whilst being in close proximity to the coastal path. Moorlands Road is situated less than 1½ miles from the town centre and sea front.
The property boasts an exclusive, elevated position near the head of this highly sought after residential cul-de-sac. Built in the 1920's, the accommodation has managed to retain many charming features and was cleverly designed in such a way that all the main rooms enjoy a Southerly aspect with charming views over the mature, well stocked gardens which offer a great deal of interest and compliment the house superbly.
The internal spaces are generously proportioned and extremely light, the reception areas are worthy of particular mention being superb for entertaining, whist all the bedrooms are of generous size and afford charming views. Outside, the stunning gardens wrap around the property. A large garage, with loft storage over, complements the extensive private parking area at the front of the property.
Whilst the property is sufficiently large enough as a family home, both the house garage have obvious potential to extend or convert the loft space to provide additional accommodation. Any scheme would be subject to necessary panning permissions being obtained, but many precedents have already been set in the immediate local area.
